The value of points comes to a total of 67.5, which reaches of the Gold LEED Certification level after performing the house size adjustment.
The approximate price of installing LEED certified objects/products is shown in the Table below. These prices are compared to prices of average products.
The price difference is about $13,980. This price difference does not account for the geothermal system installed. Although this is a big difference in price, the LEED certified home can and will significantly reduce the amount of Btu/h needed contributing to lower price in time.
